The Burbage Booth Company was founded in 2020 in the midst of a countrywide lockdown and global pandemic - not a great time to start an events business, right?
Well, we like to think a little differently. But let’s rewind a little first…
The Burbage Booth Company is run by myself (Scott) and my partner Polly - that’s us up there!
In late 2018, we both quit our jobs and took a trip of a lifetime around Europe in our self converted campervan. We explored some of those most beautiful places that our continent has to offer - from the rugged Albanian mountains, to the golden beaches of Greece and everything in between. We eventually ended up in the French Alps around a year later, having gained a puppy we found along the way.
It was here in the snowy mountains, the idea for The Burbage Booth Co was conceived. We were chatting to our friends about how much we had enjoyed the photo booths weddings we’d been to and it got us thinking about how we could take that idea to the next level - to offer a premium service that utilised great technology.
With our ski season cut short and our travel plans dashed due to Coronavirus, we headed back to my hometown of Burbage in Leicestershire. After a short period of wallowing, we set to work on creating an open air photo booth that was made from high quality materials, looked the bees knees and featured top notch components used in professional photography.
With a little help from some great local businesses, we have ended up with a finished product that we are immensely proud of and one that our customer’s are equally as proud to have at their special event.

High quality Components
Our booths are hand made by highly skilled local craftsmen with years of experience in their respective fields.
The main body of the booth was made by our friend Roy W. in his home workshop, nestled in the heart of Burbage, Leicestershire. His expertise and skill took our sketches from paper and turned them into a reality.
By using premium materials such as birch ply and oak, Roy has crafted something that is robust, yet elegant - finishing it in a beautiful lacquer that protects the oak and also accentuates the natural grain of the wood, making it a stand out in any venue.
For the black fascia on the front of the booth, we worked closely with Katie of Kreativ Design Co, another Burbage based business. She gave the booth a sleek black acrylic finish that incorporated our branding and complemented the oak beneath.
With the legs, we wanted to give the booth that vintage film camera look and after much searching, we eventually came across a german based company called Berlebach who have been making beautiful wooden tripods since the late 1800s. The quality and craftsmanship of their tripods is second to none - giving the booth the finishing touch it deserves.

We know that planning a wedding or any other event can be stressful and that’s why we aim to make everything; from the point of enquiry up until after the event has concluded, as stress-free and straightforward as possible.
At each of our events we supply smart, professional staff who have expert technical knowledge of the booth and its components, so your event goes by without a hiccup.
Our staff will be there a your event to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible and also to encourage your guests to have fun in the booth, ensuring they make the most of props and offering tips on how to capture great memories from your event!
